First flight of Boeing’s 747-8 Intercontinental

Boeing began initial test flights of the 747-8 Intercontinental, Boeing’s largest passenger plane, at Paine Field on Sunday, March 20, 2011. The freighter version of the 747-8 had its first flight in February 2010.
