Seattle fans watch USA vs. Algeria World Cup game

Ok. I wasn’t at the US-Algeria World Cup game. I didn’t even see much of the game on television. But I did get to watch the game through the expressions of a energetic crowd at Seattle’s The Atlantic Crossing Pub. This morning proved to me that Seattle is, most certainly, a soccer town. Here’s my finished, edited piece followed by raw video of the crowd reaction to the winning goal.

Real Salt Lake wins MLS Cup

I was able to shoot video at the MLS Cup held here in Seattle, Real Salt Lake against Los Angeles Galazy (including David Beckham). I shot several iPhone videos using Qik and my iPhone during the game and published almost instantly. I also shot with a Canon 5DmII, and produced a higher quality piece after the game.






My first soccer video

With MLS Cup coming up, I thought I’d try my hand at making a soccer video. I’ve shot stills of soccer more times than I can count. But I’ve never done soccer video before. So, I made this video on a high school tournament game between Mercer Island and Glacier Peak.
